QA & Testing Intern

About the Role

Techwens Software Pvt. Ltd. is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented QA & Testing Intern to join our team. This internship is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in software quality assurance, manual testing, and test documentation while working closely with our development team.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in creating, reviewing, and executing test cases.
• Perform manual testing of web and mobile applications.
• Identify, document, and track software defects using bug-tracking tools.
• Support the team in regression testing and functional testing.
• Collaborate with developers to understand product requirements and resolve issues.
• Learn and apply QA best practices, ensuring product quality.
• Assist in preparing basic test documentation and reports.

Required Skills

• Basic knowledge of Software Testing concepts (Manual Testing, SDLC, STLC).
• Understanding of different testing types (functional, regression, usability, etc.).
• Familiarity with bug reporting and documentation.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Attention to detail with a proactive learning attitude.

Preferred (Good to Have)

• Knowledge of automation testing tools (Selenium, JUnit, etc.).
• Exposure to SQL queries for database testing.
• Awareness of Agile methodology.
