Role Overview: As a QA (Quality Assurance) Associate at Pune, India, your primary responsibility will be to ensure testing strategies, plans, and deliverables are effectively executed for all applications and programs within your domain. This includes designing and conducting testing procedures, investigating instances of underperformance, and driving quality assurance practices to support business development activities. Additionally, you will collaborate with counterparts across the business to elevate the standard of QA within the bank. Key Responsibilities: - Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using standard testing frameworks like Serenity, Cucumber BDD, Playwright - Proficiency in languages such as Java, Python, Typescript, or JavaScript - Collaborate with development and QA teams to create robust automation test suites for API and UI - Integrate automated tests with CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins) for continuous testing and deployment - Develop and execute performance, load, and stress testing strategies to ensure application reliability and scalability - Analyze test results, provide detailed reports, and enhance test coverage, traceability, and efficiency - Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies like GCP Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field - 4+ years of experience in test automation - Strong proficiency in Java and experience with automation frameworks like Serenity BDD, Cucumber, Playwright, etc. - Hands-on experience with version control systems (e.g., Git), CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins), and build tools (e.g., Maven, Gradle) - Experience in testing RESTful APIs and web services - Familiarity with database testing, including SQL queries and data validation in RDBMS, Oracle DB - Knowledge of BDD/TDD methodologies and tools like Cucumber - Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments - Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills Additional Details (if present): The company, Deutsche Bank Group, promotes a culture of empowerment, commercial thinking, initiative, and collaboration.
