QA Process consultant

Job Description

Objectives: UpgradeQAprocess documentation to align with the latest industry standards and project-specific requirements. Leverage strong experience in audit controls, particularly in banking and financial services projects, to strengthenQAoversight and compliance. Design and implement a robustQASupport Working Model to deliver consistent, scalable, and standardizedQAsupport across all initiatives. Provide comprehensiveQAwalkthroughs to new project teams, ensuring effective onboarding and alignment with establishedQAprocesses. Conduct monthlyQAreviews across all Lines of Business (LoBs) and deliver detailed QAhealth check reports to stakeholders. Ensure strict compliance withQAstandards for all deliverables across theQACoE andQA-supported projects. Continuously refine and enhance QAassets such as templates, checklists, and process documentation to drive efficiency and improve quality outcomes. Collaborate with the Webster Training Team to deliver targeted training sessions on updatedQAprocesses and best practices. Perform internal controls testing in alignment with regulatory frameworks including SOX, FFIEC, and OCC . Roles & Responsibilities: Work with LoB teams to review, refine, and maintain theQAprocess asset library. Support project teams in implementingQAprocesses and ensuring adherence to defined standards throughout the project lifecycle. Conduct controls testing to assess the design and operational effectiveness of internal controls across both business and IT processes. Accurately document testing outcomes in accordance with audit, compliance, and regulatory standards. Identify and report control deficiencies, and collaborate with process owners and risk teams to define corrective actions. Support remediation efforts and perform re-testing where control weaknesses are found. Conduct periodic process compliance checks to validate ongoing adherence to QAstandards and drive accountability. Capture, track, and analyzeQAmetrics to enable data-driven improvements and highlight quality trends. Prepare and deliver detailed QAreports and assessment findings to senior stakeholders for visibility, governance, and decision-making.
