Perform end-to-end
manual UI testing
for a Java-based pricing solution in the
retail domain
, ensuring high-quality user experience across multiple workflows.
Analyze business and functional requirements to define
acceptance criteria
and design detailed
test scenarios, test cases, and test data
.
Execute
functional, regression, and UI/UX testing
across multiple browsers and devices to ensure visual and functional consistency.
Collaborate closely with
Developers, Business Analysts, and Product Owners
within Agile sprints to validate new features and identify issues early.
Document and maintain
test artifacts
(test cases, test results, regression suites).
Log, track, and manage defects using standard defect tracking tools, ensuring
timely resolution
with the development team.
Provide estimates on test effort for planned features and releases.
Contribute to
process improvement
and best practices in testing.
Basic knowledge of automation tools/scripting is a
plus
, with openness to learning and contributing to automation efforts over time.

Qualifications

Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (preferred but not mandatory).
3 4 years of experience in
manual UI/functional testing
.
Hands-on experience in
cross-browser/device testing
.
Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.
Knowledge of bug-tracking tools (e.g., JIRA, Bugzilla).
Good understanding of
software QA methodologies
and practices.
Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
