Seeking a dedicated and experienced Lead Quality Engineer to secure the high standards of our next-generation websites. As a key member of our IT/Digital team, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality, performance, and reliability of our modern web stack, which includes Sitecore XM Cloud content management system, a Next.js frontend hosted on Vercel, and styled with Tailwind CSS. Your role is to ensure the quality standards of the software
development, set up testing strategies, coordinate the testing activities and write automated tests.

Key Responsibilities:

• Set Quality Standards: define quality expectations for the developed software for both internal and external teams
  Develop and Execute Test Plans: create comprehensive test strategies, test plans, and test cases for our web applications. This includes functional, regression, performance, integration, unit tests and user acceptance testing across web and mobile platforms. Automate Tests: Implement and maintain automated and manual testing procedures (on Cypress.io, Playwright, SonarCloud, Codacy), ensuring defects are identified and resolved before release. Report and Document: Prepare regular reports on the status of testing activities, issues found, and their resolutions for management and stakeholders. Ensure QA documentation is audit-ready, compliant with internal and external standards, and regularly reviewed for accuracy. Lead the QA team: Lead, mentor, and develop a team of QA engineers, distributing work and providing guidance to maintain performance and foster professional growth. Performance Monitoring: implement tools and processes to monitor the performance of our website. You'll analyze metrics and collaborate with the development team to optimize site speed and reliability. Collaborate and Communicate: work closely with developers, product managers, external teams and other stakeholders to ensure quality is a priority throughout the entire development lifecycle. You'll communicate test results, metrics and provide actionable feedback. Stay up-to-date: Keep up with the latest trends e.g. AI in test-automation and best practices in web technologies, quality assurance, and automated testing to ensure our processes are always evolving.

Required qualifications:

• At least 5 years of experience in a Quality Assurance or Quality Engineer role, preferably with a focus on web applications
  Strong knowledge of modern web technologies, including Next.js. Strong leadership qualities and team management skills Proficiency with automated testing frameworks such as Cypress.io, Playwright, SoapUI, BrowserStack or comparable Understanding of how code quality frameworks works, preferably codacy.com, sonar.com or comparable Strong analytical, problem-solving, and documentation skills Experience with Next.js or other modern JavaScript frameworks (React, Vue, etc.) is highly preferred. Experience with content management systems (CMS) like Sitecore XM Cloud is a plus. Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills with a meticulous approach to identifying and documenting issues. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical issues to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
