Qa Lead

We are looking for a seasoned Lead QA Automation Engineer with a minimum of 10 years of experience in software testing, preferably in the eCommerce domain. The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in automation and manual testing, strong leadership capabilities, and a proven track record of driving quality initiatives across complex systems. Experience with modern automation frameworks, CI/CD integration, and mentoring global QA teams is essential.
Role Summary:

• - Lead QA strategy and execution across multiple eCommerce platforms and services.
  
• - Architect and evolve scalable test automation frameworks using tools like Java, JavaScript, Selenium, Playwright, or Cypress.
  
• - Define and implement quality metrics, test plans, and risk-based testing approaches.
  
• - Collaborate with Product, Engineering, and DevOps teams to ensure seamless integration of testing into Agile workflows.
  
• - Drive in-sprint automation and shift-left testing practices.
  
• - Oversee API testing and performance validation using tools like Postman, RestAssured, or JMeter.
  
• - Manage and mentor onshore/offshore QA teams, fostering a culture of ownership and continuous improvement.
  
• - Conduct root cause analysis and contribute to defect prevention strategies.
  
• - Stay ahead of industry trends and introduce innovative testing solutions.
  

Years of Experience:
- Minimum 10 years of experience in software testing, including integration, UI, API, and performance testing.

Basic Qualifications

• - Expertise in Java/JavaScript, Selenium, and modern automation frameworks like POM, Cucumber, Playwright, or Cypress.
  
• - Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, Azure DevOps, or GitHub Actions.
  
• - Strong understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies and test lifecycle management.
  
• - Familiarity with test case management tools like Jira, Zephyr, ALM, and database testing (Oracle, MySQL, Couchbase).
  
• - Proven experience in leading QA teams, defining test strategies, and delivering high-quality releases.
  

Preferred Qualifications:

• - Programming: Java, JavaScript, Python (optional).
  
• - Automation Tools: Selenium, Playwright, Cypress.
