About the Role

QA Lead

Key Responsibilities

Quality Leadership & Strategy

• Lead, mentor, and guide a team of QA engineers (manual + automation).
  
• Define test strategies, QA processes, and quality standards for all releases.
  
• Ensure comprehensive test planning, execution, and documentation.
  

Manual Testing

• Perform functional, regression, integration, usability, and exploratory testing.
  
• Review requirements and user stories, identify gaps, and design robust test cases.
  
• Ensure high-quality validation for all features before release.
  

Automation Testing

• Build, enhance, and maintain automation test frameworks.
  
• Automate regression and sanity test suites for faster release cycles.
  
• Work with CI/CD pipelines to integrate automated tests (Git, Jenkins/Azure DevOps, etc.).
  
• Strong experience in Selenium / Playwright / Cypress or similar tools.
  

NFR (Non-Functional Testing) Mandatory

• Conduct and drive

  performance testing

  (Load, Stress, Scalability).
• Work with tools such as

  JMeter, LoadRunner, Gatling

  , etc.
• Ensure

  security testing

  awareness (OWASP Top 10, vulnerability detection).
• Validate system reliability, accessibility, and compliance requirements.
  

Collaboration & Communication

• Work closely with developers, product managers, and DevOps teams for defect resolution and release planning.
  
• Provide clear test reports, metrics, and quality insights to stakeholders.
  

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 7–10 years of total QA experience, with at least 2+ years in a lead role.
  
• Strong hands-on experience in both

  manual and automation testing

  .
• Mandatory experience in

  NFR testing

  —performance, reliability, and basic security testing.
• Strong understanding of SDLC, STLC, Agile methodologies.
  
• Proficiency in test management tools (JIRA, TestRail, Zephyr).
  
• Solid analytical, debugging, and communication skills.
  
• Experience with any cloud environment (AWS/Azure/GCP) is a plus.
