QA Lead

As a QA Lead, you will be responsible for reviewing requirements, specifications, and technical design documents to provide timely and meaningful feedback. You will play a crucial role in creating detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test plans and test cases. Your expertise will be utilized to estimate, prioritize, plan, and coordinate testing activities while identifying, documenting, and tracking bugs efficiently. In this role, you will conduct thorough regression testing once bugs are resolved and develop testing processes tailored to meet client needs for both new and existing products. Collaboration with internal teams such as developers and product managers will be essential to identify system requirements accurately. Monitoring the debugging process results and investigating non-conforming software causes will also fall under your responsibilities. Furthermore, tracking quality assurance metrics like defect densities and open defect counts will be crucial to ensure the overall quality of the software. Staying updated with new testing tools and strategies is essential to enhance the testing procedures continuously. The ideal candidate for this position should have proven work experience in software quality assurance and a strong understanding of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes. Proficiency in writing clear, concise, and comprehensive test plans and test cases is necessary. Hands-on experience with black-box testing, good knowledge of SQL, and familiarity with API testing using tools like POSTMAN are preferred qualifications. Experience in Agile/Scrum development, performance testing, security testing, and automated testing tools such as Selenium & Appium would be advantageous. A degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related subject (BS/MS) is required to excel in this role.
