QA Lead (Automation Only)

Job Description

Position Overview - We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled QA Lead to join our dynamic team. As the QA Lead, you will be responsible for leading the quality assurance efforts, ensuring the highest standards of quality across our products. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to develop and implement robust testing strategies, drive continuous improvement, and mentor a team of QA engineers. Role Objectives and Responsibilities: Conduct both manual and automation tests. Perform different types of testing, such as exploratory, sanity, integration, system and end-to-end, regression testing, white box, and black box testing. Helping identify weaknesses and problem areas in the software application. Explore and implement optimum framework/tools for the automation testing of different components of the SaaS product. Tracking software bugs and investigating the causes. Monitor and troubleshoot failures in test cases integrated into the build process. Create test plans, test cases, and test reports. Plan and prioritize testing activities. Communicate with the QA Engineer to improve the quality of the software applications. Monitor assurance metrics and process results. Key skills: 8+ Years of proven work experience as a QA Automation Engineer or relevant position in the IT department. Strong leadership and organizational skills. Supervise technical specialists, following up on issues and balancing work among team members according to individual skills and workload. Bachelor's degree (preferably in the engineering field). Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes. Good knowledge of programming languages like Python, and JavaScript. Good knowledge of SQL and NoSQL databases. Expertise in automation testing tools like Cypress, Selenium, Cucumber, Robot, and JMeter. Familiarity with the software development process plus Build and DevOps processes. Strong communication skills. Ability to work collaboratively & manage project deadlines.
