Job Description

Key Responsibilities Test Automation Frameworks: Develop, maintain, and optimize test automation frameworks to enhance testing efficiency and coverage. Lead Automation Efforts: Design, develop, and execute automated test scripts to validate application functionality. ETL and Database Testing: Test data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) processes, ensuring data integrity and accuracy. Functional Automation: Utilize Selenium with Java to lead the development of automated functional test scripts. API Testing: Perform API testing using tools like Rest Assured to validate RESTful services and APIs. CI/CD Integration: Integrate test automation scripts into the CI/CD pipeline, ensuring automated testing is part of every build and release cycle. Collaboration & Mentorship: Work with developers, product managers, and stakeholders to ensure thorough testing; mentor junior QA engineers. Test Reporting & Metrics: Generate detailed test reports, track defect metrics, and provide insights on test progress and quality. Continuous Improvement: Evaluate and improve existing test strategies and automation processes to enhance efficiency and software quality. Primary Skills Programming: Strong proficiency in Java. Automation Tools: Expertise in Selenium and Rest Assured. CI/CD Tools: Experience with CI/CD integration and tool harnesses. Database Testing: Knowledge of database and ETL testing, including schema validation. Test Strategy: Strong background in test strategy, planning, and agile testing methodologies.
