Description Of The Role
We are looking for a passionate and detail-oriented
QA Intern
to join our team at TV2Z. This 6-month internship will give you hands-on exposure to software testing in the OTT and video streaming industry. You will support the QA team in executing test cases, identifying and documenting defects, and collaborating with developers to ensure delivery of high-quality products.
Responsibilities
- Assist in designing, developing, and executing manual test cases.
- Identify, track, and document defects using test management tools.
- Collaborate with developers, QA engineers, and product managers to understand requirements.
- Perform different types of testing, including functional, regression, and exploratory testing.
- Contribute to improving QA processes and practices.
Qualifications
- Pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Basic knowledge of software testing concepts (manual testing is a must; automation is a plus).
- Understanding of the software development lifecycle (SDLC) and QA methodologies.
- Familiarity with defect tracking or test management tools (preferred).
- Knowledge of automation tools (e.g., Selenium, Postman) or scripting languages (Python, Java) is a plus.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Good communication and collaboration skills.
