QA Executive

Job Overview:

Key Responsibilities:

• Understand business and technical requirements to develop and execute test cases.
• Perform manual and automated testing of web/mobile applications and APIs.
• Create, manage, and maintain test documentation including test cases, test scripts, and test data.
• Execute functional, regression, integration, smoke, and sanity tests.
• Identify, log, and track bugs using tools like JIRA, Bugzilla, or similar platforms.
• Collaborate with developers and product owners to resolve defects and improve product quality.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of QA processes and automation coverage.
• Participate in sprint planning, stand-ups, and product reviews in an Agile/Scrum environment.
• Ensure product releases meet quality standards before deployment.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 2–4 years of experience in software testing (SaaS product testing is a plus).
• Strong knowledge of QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
• Hands-on experience with test automation tools (e.g., Selenium, Cypress, Postman, JMeter).
• Experience with API testing and writing automated test scripts.
• Working knowledge of databases and ability to write basic SQL queries.
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools and version control systems like Git.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication and documentation abilities.
