QA Engineer

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and execute automation scripts using frameworks such as Cypress or Playwright.
• Gain a solid understanding of the software under test to identify and resolve issues.
• Work closely with the development team to refine quality assurance practices and contribute to better software design.
• Utilize TypeScript to create scalable and maintainable test scripts.
• Conduct thorough and systematic test case execution, documenting all defects and issues accurately.
• Showcase excellent debugging skills to trace bugs to their source and provide detailed reports.
• Maintain a rigorous attention to detail to ensure the highest level of quality in software releases.
• Communicate effectively with team members, including clear and concise reporting of testing progress and outcomes.

Qualifications and Skills:

• 3 years of experience in a QA or software testing role.
• Previous hands-on experience with automation frameworks such as Cypress or Playwright is highly desirable.
• Proficiency in TypeScript or a strong willingness to learn.
• Strong debugging skills and the ability to identify and document defects effectively.
• Exceptional attention to detail and a methodical approach to software testing.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
• A proactive attitude and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively.
• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• A degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is preferred but not mandatory with relevant experience.

Pay: Up to ₹800,000.00 per year
