Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Cypress and JavaScript.
• Execute automated test suites to validate application functionality and performance.
• Identify, document, and track defects, and work with development teams to ensure timely resolution.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand application features and requirements.
• Develop and maintain test plans, test cases, and test data.
• Perform code reviews and provide feedback to ensure test code quality and best practices.
• Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and contribute to continuous improvement efforts.
• Analyze test results and provide detailed reports on test coverage, defects, and overall quality.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and best practices in test automation.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• Proven experience in QA automation with a focus on Cypress and JavaScript.
• Strong understanding of software testing principles and methodologies.
• Experience with CI/CD tools and integrating automated tests into the build process.
• Familiarity with version control systems, such as Git.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Experience with other testing tools and frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Jest) is a plus.
• Knowledge of HTML, CSS, and RESTful APIs is a plus
