We are looking for a highly motivated QA Engineer to join our team. You will be part of a team that develops, implements, and supports our cloud-based B2B SaaS solution, Solifi. In this role, you will take the lead in establishing and implementing an automated testing framework, ensuring that our testing processes become more efficient, scalable, and reliable.
As a QA Engineer, you will play a crucial role in designing, developing, and executing automated test strategies, working closely with developers, business analysts, and infrastructure teammates to integrate automated testing into our software development lifecycle. Your contributions will help streamline continuous integration and delivery (CI/CD) processes, reducing manual effort and increasing test coverage for a more predictable release cycle. Is experienced in designing, creating, and executing automated test cases, ensuring seamless software releases. Has excellent communication, technical, and analytical skills, allowing them to collaborate effectively with business analysts, developers, and infrastructure teammates. Understands how to bridge the gap between manual and automated testing, ensuring a smooth transition while maintaining high-quality standards. Works closely with teammates across the business to ensure requirement details are clear, testing is automated, and releases are predictable and reliable. Has a strong understanding of test automation frameworks, scripting languages, and CI/CD integration, enabling faster deployments and increased test coverage. Is passionate about continuous improvement and brings a forward-thinking approach to quality assurance by implementing best practices and staying up to date with emerging trends in test automation. As part of the Solifi team, you will be instrumental in defining our test automation strategy, improving efficiency, and ensuring that quality is embedded throughout the development lifecycle. 5+ years of experience in test automation development
Strong experience in developing, executing, and maintaining automated test scripts for manual, regression, and performance testing
Hands-on experience with test automation frameworks (such as Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, or similar)
Proficiency in scripting languages (such as Python, Java, JavaScript, or C#) for test automation
Familiarity with CI/CD tools (such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, or similar) and integrating automated tests into the deployment pipeline
Experience working with APIs and API testing tools like Postman, RestAssured, or similar
Understanding of source control and versioning systems (such as Git) for managing test scripts and automation frameworks
Ability to define and implement a structured automation strategy, ensuring scalable and maintainable test automation solutions
Ability to ensure software meets Usability, Scalability, Data Integrity, and Security standards through automated testing
Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills to identify defects, debug test failures, and optimize test cases
Basic understanding of performance and load testing tools (such as JMeter, Gatling, or k6) is a plus
Ability to investigate and quickly learn new technologies, tools, and frameworks to enhance automation processes
Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with developers, business analysts, and stakeholders
Innovative thinker with a passion for technology and quality assurance best practices
Ability to work independently and take ownership of automation initiatives while also collaborating in a team environment
Basic business acumen to understand business requirements and translate them into test scenarios
Proven ability to ensure changes meet Usability, Scalability, Data Integrity and Security standards
Ability to work on self-managed development projects as we'll as in a team environment Preferred Skills & Experience : Knowledge of the asset finance and commercial lending industry Preferred experience in Microsoft Dynamics 365 for Sales and/or Power Platform, both model-driven and canvas PowerApps Microsoft Certified: Power Platform Functional Consultant Associate
