Job Description

Roles & Responsibilty - Performing inspections and tests on materials, components, and finished products: Ensuring that they meet quality standards. Identifying and resolving quality issues: Working with production teams to correct defects and prevent future problems. Maintaining records of inspections, tests, and quality issues: Ensuring that all quality-related data is accurate and readily available. Preparing reports on quality performance: Providing management with information on quality issues and trends. NDT Qualification: Should be conversant with NDT procedure and qualified as ASNT NDT Level-II in RT, PT , UT & MT Manufacturing Process Knowledge- Required knowledge in Fabrication of Pressure Vessel, Piping and Structural items, Painting , Rubber / FRP Lining Inspection Knowledge- Required knowledge in Receipt Inspection, In process and Final Inspection ( Pre Delivery Inspection) Calibration of Instruments- Basic knowledge about different instrument , use and calibration process knowledge Welding Procedure Qualification Preparation of WPS,PQR,WPQ for Carbon Steel, Stainless Steel and Duplex Material Code Knowledge- Interpretation of ASME Sec.II,VIII & IX , ANSI 31.3 Other Responsibilities: Collaborating with other engineers and departments: Working with cross-functional teams to ensure that quality is integrated into all aspects of the project or product development. Staying up-to-date on industry standards and best practices: Ensuring that the company's quality processes are current and effective. Participating in project meetings and reviews: Providing input on quality issues and ensuring that quality is a priority.
