QA Engineer

We are looking for a QA Engineer with a strong background in software testing to join our Technology team at ekincare. The role involves designing test cases, executing functional and regression testing, identifying bugs, and ensuring high-quality product releases that impact millions of users.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, maintain, and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts for web and mobile applications.
  
• Perform functional, regression, integration, and usability testing.
  
• Collaborate closely with developers, product managers, and business teams to understand requirements and translate them into test scenarios.
  
• Identify, document, and track defects/bugs using standard bug-tracking tools (e.g., JIRA).
  
• Ensure timely delivery of high-quality releases by validating fixes and enhancements.
  
• Work with automation frameworks/tools (Selenium, Appium, or equivalent) to improve test coverage.
  
• Participate in review meetings and contribute to continuous improvement of QA processes.
  
• Provide clear and structured QA reports for stakeholders.
  

Requirements:

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  
• Minimum 2 years of experience in software testing (manual + basic automation).
  
• Strong understanding of SDLC, STLC, and QA methodologies.
  
• Hands-on experience with testing tools such as Selenium, Appium, Postman (API testing).
  
• Familiarity with JIRA, TestRail, or similar bug-tracking/test management tools.
  
• Good analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  
• Knowledge of SQL and basic scripting is an added advantage.
  
• Experience with modern, fast, and reliable frameworks such as Playwright JS will be considered a strong advantage.
