Job Summary

We are seeking a QA Engineer with strong manual testing skills and basic experience in test automation. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring product quality through functional, regression, and exploratory testing, while also contributing to the automation suite for web and/or mobile applications.


Key Responsibilities

  • Analyze requirements, create test plans, and develop detailed test cases for web, mobile, and API platforms.
  • Execute manual test cases and log defects clearly and concisely.
  • Collaborate closely with developers, business analysts, and product owners in Agile teams.
  • Perform regression, smoke, and exploratory testing during sprint cycles.
  • Write and maintain automation test scripts for basic scenarios using tools like Selenium, Postman, or Appium.
  • Maintain traceability between requirements, test cases, and defects.
  • Participate in Agile ceremonies such as daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives.


Required Skills

  • 3–6 years of hands-on experience in manual testing.
  • Working knowledge of test case management and bug tracking tools (e.g., JIRA, TestRail).
  • Experience testing web applications, mobile apps (Android/iOS), and REST APIs.
  • Exposure to API testing using Postman or similar tools.
  • Basic understanding and experience with test automation tools like Selenium WebDriver or Appium.
  • Familiarity with any scripting language – e.g., Java, Python, or JavaScript – for basic automation.
  • Understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and Agile methodology.
  • Basic knowledge of CI/CD concepts and tools like Jenkins or GitHub Actions.


Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or related discipline.
