Role Overview

We are seeking a QA Engineer with 2–3 years of experience in both manual and automation testing to join our team. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, proactive, and experienced in testing web and mobile applications. You will work closely with our developers, designers, and product managers to ensure MrMed’s applications meet the highest quality standards while driving automation for faster, more reliable releases.

Responsibilities

● Design, document, and execute test cases, test plans, and test scenarios for web and mobile apps.

● Perform functional, regression, integration, UI/UX, API, and automation testing across Next.js, React Native, and Node.js-based applications.

● Build, maintain, and execute automated test scripts using frameworks such as Cypress, Playwright, or Selenium.

● Collaborate with developers and product managers to ensure issues are clearly understood and resolved.

● Conduct cross-browser and cross-device testing to validate responsive design and mobile compatibility.

● Verify data accuracy and backend integration in MongoDB-driven systems.

● Perform smoke and sanity testing on builds deployed on AWS infrastructure.

● Assist in creating and maintaining testing documentation, QA metrics, and process improvements.

Requirements

● 2–3 years of experience in manual testing of web and mobile applications.

● Hands-on experience in automation testing (Cypress, Playwright, Selenium, or equivalent).

● Strong knowledge of software testing life cycle (STLC), defect life cycle, and QA methodologies.

● Experience testing apps built on React Native / Next.js / Node.js.

● Basic understanding of databases (MongoDB preferred) and ability to run simple queries for validation.

● Familiarity with API testing tools (Postman, Swagger, etc.).

● Exposure to cloud-based environments (AWS preferred).

● Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and communication skills.

Nice to Have

● Experience working in healthcare, pharmacy, or e-commerce domains.

● Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines (e.g., GitHub Actions, Jenkins) for integrating automated tests.

● Interest in performance and load testing tools (e.g., JMeter, k6).

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹40,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
