QA Engineer

The ideal candidate for this QA Automation Engineer position should have a minimum of 3 years of experience in QA automation engineering. You must possess expertise in using open-source User Interface (UI) test tools like Selenium WebDriver, Playwright, and Cypress. A strong understanding of Java and the ability to write complex SQL queries for testing purposes are essential. Experience in writing test automation scripts using BDD Tools such as Cucumber and Gherkin is required. Furthermore, hands-on experience with API testing and familiarity with software delivery methodologies like Agile/Scrum are necessary for this role. The candidate should also be capable of supporting and evolving CI/CD platforms for continuous testing using Jenkins. Proficiency in working on Linux/UNIX operating systems and knowledge of Cloud Services, particularly on the AWS Platform, are advantageous. Additionally, expertise in web-based application testing and integrating the automation suite with Browser-stack is crucial to ensuring the highest level of automation is achieved. Familiarity with tools like Jira, Confluence, TestRail, and Zephyr is preferred. Preferred skills and experience include executing performance tests using tools like K6, JMeter, Gatling, or equivalent. Experience with Adobe Experience Manager would be desirable. Hands-on experience with Git, Gitlab runners, or any version control system is a plus. A proactive attitude with excellent scenario creation skills, problem-solving abilities, and strong debugging skills are highly valued.
