Qa Engineer

Role & responsibilities

• Automate component, System / Integration test cases with data-driven approach
• Identifying, generating, and setting up of test data to support the tests and manage dynamically for regression tests
• Run automated execution suites and generate automated reports

• Drive automation test planning and test data generation
• Execute tests and report out
• Help in building frameworks / Proofs of Concepts

Technical Skills and experience

• 5-8 years of experience in automation testing, with at least 2-3 year of recent mobile testing experience

• Hands on expertise in test tools / languages Automation: Appium, Python / Javascript, Device Farm: BrowserStack / HeadSpin, Monitoring / Reporting tools:  e.g., Grafana, Test management: zephyr / Jira; API:Postman, RestAssured
• Experience in Mobile Native app, API, Web and Batch automation testing and using Frameworks

• Hands on expertise in test tools / languages Automation: Appium, Python / Javascript, Device Farm: BrowserStack / HeadSpin, Monitoring / Reporting tools:  e.g., Grafana, Test management: zephyr / Jira; API:Postman, RestAssured
• Experience in Mobile Native app, API, Web and Batch automation testing and using Frameworks
• Ability to operate in an Agile ,CI / CD-enabled environment using Git, Jenkins and contribute to the CI / CD pipeline
• Fair understanding of DNS, web, application server, messaging queues, event-driven platforms. Experience working on one or more of the Cloud platform AWS / GCP / Azure
• Good understanding of NoSQL and SQL DBs.
• Good understanding ofsoftware testing methods
• Experience with automating non-functional requirement such as usability, accessibility, multi-lingual is an additional advantage
• Understanding of Banking / Financial Services domain is an added advantage
• A self-starter who can solution, find alternatives
• Strong interpersonal, facilitation, and effective communication (both written and verbal) skills 
• Keen eye for detail, organized and diligent in follow through
