Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced QA Engineer with strong expertise in GUI testing using QT/Squish and scripting in Python. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and executing automated and manual tests for GUI-based applications, ensuring product quality and reliability.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and execute automated and manual GUI tests using Squish (QT framework).
• Develop Python scripts for automation, test data setup, and validation.
• Perform functional, regression, and integration testing of GUI applications.
• Collaborate closely with developers and product teams to identify and resolve defects.
• Maintain and enhance existing test frameworks and automation scripts.
• Participate in code reviews, requirement analysis, and test documentation.
• Ensure high-quality software delivery through continuous testing improvements.

Required Skills :

• 5+ years of experience in QA / GUI testing.
• Hands-on experience with QT/Squish for GUI automation.
• Strong proficiency in Python scripting.
• Experience with test case design, execution, and defect tracking tools (e.g., JIRA).
• Understanding of SDLC/STLC and Agile methodologies.
• Strong analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills.

Good to Have

• Exposure to CI/CD pipelines and test integration tools.
• Experience with Linux/Windows environments.
• Familiarity with version control systems (Git).

Job Types: Full-time, Contractual / Temporary
Contract length: 6 months

Pay: ₹70,000.00 - ₹90,000.00 per month

Experience:

• QA / GUI Testing: 5 years (Required)
• QT/Squish for GUI automation: 2 years (Required)
• Python Scripting: 2 years (Required)
