Job Description

Key Skills:

Roles and Responsibilities:

Plan and develop automated tests using Python and other third-party software.
Analyze failures and fix issues.
Execute automated tests and perform automation code reviews.
Analyze results and generate reports.
Collaborate effectively with team members to ensure quality outcomes.
Establish strong technical, analytical, scripting, and testing skills to handle multiple tasks with minimal supervision.
Write System Test Plans and System Test Specifications.
Familiarize with JIRA for problem tracking and automation code collaboration tools like Gerrit.
Engage in Agile/DevOps environments and contribute to the end-to-end software engineering lifecycle.

Skills Required:

Strong hands-on experience in QA testing for networking and telecom domains.
In-depth knowledge of EMS/NMS systems, OTN, and SONET technologies.
Proficiency in Python scripting for test automation and framework enhancement.
Familiarity with DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and automation tools.
Understanding of networking protocols and software-defined networking (SDN) concepts.
Experience in test planning, design, execution, and defect management.
Working knowledge of JIRA, Gerrit, and version control systems like Git.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to debug test failures.
Ability to prepare System Test Plans and Test Specifications.
Excellent teamwork, communication, and documentation skills.
Exposure to Agile/DevOps development environments and end-to-end software testing processes.
