Website: https://www.mksvision.com/ Job Location: Hyderabad/Coimbatore Job Title: QA Automation Engineer UI, API, DB Automation Experience Level: 4 to 6 Years Location: [Coimbatore-preferred, Hyderabad] Role Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled QA Automation Engineer with 46 years of IT experience to join our Quality Engineering team. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in UI, API, and Database Automation , excellent communication skills, and the ability to work independently and proactively in a fast-paced delivery environment. This role is instrumental in supporting a large-scale technology migration project involving web, API, and mobile application components. Key Responsibilities: Design, develop, and maintain robust automation frameworks for UI, API, and DB testing using tools like Selenium/Playwright, RestAssured, and BDD-Cucumber. Build and execute automated test scripts using Java or Python . Perform functional, regression, and integration testing across frontend , backend , and mobile app platforms. Validate data migration and backend processing by writing complex SQL queries. Collaborate with developers, QA leads, business analysts, and DevOps teams in both Agile and Waterfall environments. Contribute to CI/CD pipelines via Jenkins or Azure DevOps for seamless test execution and reporting. Log, track, and manage defects in JIRA and test coverage in Zephyr or equivalent test management tools. Participate in iterative delivery cycles , planning and executing automation for incremental modules. Provide timely updates, communicate risks and blockers clearly with customers and internal stakeholders. Demonstrate ownership, propose solutions for automation challenges, and help drive the QA team toward continuous improvement. Required Skills and Experience: 46 years of hands-on QA Automation experience. Strong in UI Automation using Selenium or Playwright. Proficient in API testing using RestAssured or similar tools. Solid understanding of BDD frameworks like Cucumber. Expertise in Java or Python programming for automation. Experience with SQL Server or other relational databases for DB validation. Exposure to Mobile App Testing (manual or automated). Experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins and Azure DevOps. Knowledge of Agile Scrum and Waterfall models. Tools: JIRA, Zephyr/Xray, Git, Postman, VS Code or IntelliJ. K ey Competencies: Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills. Proactive mindset with ability to work independently and escalate risks.
