QA Automation Engineer

• Design, develop, and maintain robust

  automation frameworks

  for UI, API, and DB testing using tools like Selenium/Playwright, RestAssured, and BDD-Cucumber.
• Build and execute automated test scripts using

  Java or Python

  .
• Perform functional, regression, and integration testing across

  frontend

  ,

  backend

  , and

  mobile app

  platforms.
• Validate data migration and backend processing by writing complex SQL queries.
• Collaborate with developers, QA leads, business analysts, and DevOps teams in both

  Agile

  and

  Waterfall

  environments.

• Contribute to

  CI/CD pipelines

  via

  Jenkins

  or

  Azure DevOps

  for seamless test execution and reporting.
• Log, track, and manage defects in

  JIRA

  and test coverage in

  Zephyr

  or equivalent test management tools.
• Participate in

  iterative delivery cycles

  , planning and executing automation for incremental modules.
• Provide timely updates, communicate risks and blockers clearly with customers and internal stakeholders.
• Demonstrate ownership, propose solutions for automation challenges, and help

  drive the QA team

  toward continuous improvement.

Required Skills and Experience:

• 46 years

  of hands-on QA Automation experience.
• Strong in

  UI Automation

  using Selenium or Playwright.
• Proficient in

  API testing

  using RestAssured or similar tools.
• Solid understanding of

  BDD frameworks

  like Cucumber.
• Expertise in

  Java or Python

  programming for automation.
• Experience with

  SQL Server or other relational databases

  for DB validation.
• Exposure to

  Mobile App Testing

  (manual or automated).
• Experience with

  CI/CD tools

  like Jenkins and Azure DevOps.
• Knowledge of Agile Scrum and Waterfall models.
• Tools: JIRA, Zephyr/Xray, Git, Postman, VS Code or IntelliJ.
