QA Automation Engineer

Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled Automation QA Engineer with 4+ years of hands-on experience in automated web application testing using Selenium with Core Java.
The ideal candidate will design, build, and maintain robust test automation frameworks and demonstrate strong communication and client-handling skills. This role requires working directly from the client site, providing regular updates and clear communication with all stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and implement scalable and maintainable automated test frameworks using Selenium and Java
• Develop clean, reusable, and efficient test scripts for functional and regression testing
• Collaborate closely with developers, product managers, and manual testers to ensure quality delivery
• Review and analyze system specifications and requirements
• Conduct root cause analysis for test failures and coordinate with developers for resolution
• Actively participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies (planning, reviews, retrospectives)
• Maintain comprehensive test documentation – test plans, test cases, and test results
• Provide regular day-to-day status updates to clients and communicate effectively with team members

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• 4–6 years of experience in automation testing of web applications
• Strong programming expertise in Core Java
• Hands-on experience with Selenium WebDriver, TestNG/JUnit, and Maven/Gradle
• Proficiency with version control systems (e.g., Git)
• Experience using defect tracking tools (e.g., JIRA)
• In-depth understanding of QA methodologies, test design, and execution
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills – must be able to articulate technical issues clearly and collaborate effectively with global teams
• Ability to handle client communication and represent the QA team professionally

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹40,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
