Job Title: QA Automation Engineer (Python with Selenium) Location: Indore Job Type: Full-Time Experience: 3–6 years Preferred - Immediate joiner Job Summary: We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented QA Automation Engineer with strong Python programming skills and hands-on experience in test automation. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining test automation frameworks to ensure the quality and reliability of our software products. Key Responsibilities: Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Python . Build robust automation frameworks for web and API testing using tools such as Selenium , PyTest , or Robot Framework . Collaborate closely with development and QA teams to understand application functionality and define effective test strategies. Perform API testing (REST/SOAP) using Postman or Python libraries like requests. Execute automated regression test suites, analyze test results, and log defects using JIRA or similar tools. Enhance test automation coverage and continuously optimize test scripts for performance and reliability. Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins or GitHub Actions . Maintain thorough documentation of test cases, test processes, and test results. Required Skills & Qualifications: Strong hands-on experience with Python for scripting and automation. Proficient with Selenium WebDriver and PyTest (or equivalent frameworks). Experience with API automation and tools/libraries like Postman , requests, or similar. Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and Git for version control. Good understanding of SDLC , Agile/Scrum methodologies, and defect management. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and debugging skills.
