QA Automation Engineer

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Implement and own the end-to-end

  Test Automation Strategy

  across Agile PODs, aligning with CI/CD, DevOps practices, and test automation pyramid principles.
• Integrate

  Generative AI tools

  to enhance test case generation, bug triaging, and predictive analytics to reduce cycle times and improve quality insights.
• Lead the design and implementation of

  automation frameworks and tooling

  , ensuring scalability, reusability, and maintainability of test assets.
• Drive

  shift-left testing

  strategies by collaborating early with developers and business analysts to embed quality at every stage of the development lifecycle.
• Conduct root cause analysis (RCA) of defects, enforce stage containment practices, and implement process improvement initiatives focusing on

  quality, velocity, and efficiency

  .
• Ensure standardization of QA processes across PODs, perform quality reviews, and conduct deep dives to maintain consistency in practices.
  
• Support the

  PI Planning process

  , contribute to resource and skill gap analysis, and define training plans for QA members and suppliers.
• Collaborate closely with Product Owners, Dev Leads, and Squad Leaders to establish quality KPIs and build real-time

  dashboards

  for defect trends, test coverage, and release readiness.
• Participate in test strategy meetings and sprint ceremonies; influence test planning and estimation based on risk-based analysis.
  
• Ensure alignment to global testing frameworks and strategic goals; represent QA in leadership and cross-POD discussions.
  

Technical & Functional Requirements:

Must-Have Skills:

• 68 years of experience

  in QA, with solid experience in both

  Manual and Automation Testing

  .
• Strong hands-on experience with

  Playwright

  and

  Selenium

  automation frameworks.
• Expertise in

  JavaScript

  ,

  TypeScript

  , and

  Java

  for test script development.
• Good exposure to

  API Testing

  , manual test case execution, and defect tracking.
• Proficient in

  Automation Framework Design

  , test strategy, test planning, and test execution.
• Solid understanding of

  CI/CD tools and DevOps practices

  .
• Familiar with tools such as

  Azure DevOps

  ,

  GitHub

  Bitbucket

  , or similar.
• Experience working in Agile, Scrum, or SAFe environments.
  
• Proven ability to deliver high-quality software with test-driven development and infrastructure as code approaches.

• Knowledge or experience with
