Job Description

As an IT Quality Intermediate Analyst at our company, you will be responsible for independently handling most problems with flexibility to solve complex issues. Your specialized knowledge and solid understanding of industry standards and practices will contribute to the team's success in achieving objectives. Your analytical thinking, proficiency in data analysis tools, and methodologies are crucial for making informed judgments and recommendations based on factual information. Handling variable issues with potential broader business impact requires your professional judgment when interpreting data and results. Your ability to break down information systematically and communicate effectively is essential. Effective communication and diplomacy skills are necessary for exchanging potentially complex/sensitive information. Your work directly impacts the quality and timeliness of service provided, affecting not only your team but also other closely related teams. **Responsibilities:** - Support initiatives related to User Acceptance Testing (UAT) process and product rollout into production, collaborating with technology project managers, UAT professionals, and users to design and implement appropriate scripts/plans for application testing strategies. - Conduct a variety of moderately complex process monitoring, product evaluation, and audit assignments, reporting issues and recommending solutions. - Ensure project standards and procedures are clearly documented and followed throughout the software development life cycle, making recommendations for enhanced documentation. - Monitor products and processes for conformance to standards and procedures, documenting findings and performing preliminary root cause analyses for recommended improvements. - Verify traceability in project work products, gather, maintain, and create reports on quality metrics. - Provide informal guidance to new team members, resolve problems by identifying and selecting solutions through technical experience, and impact the business by ensuring work quality. - Perform other duties and functions as assigned, demonstrating clear and concise communication skills and logical analysis abilities. **Qualifications:** - 5+ years of Quality Assurance (QA) experience in the Financial Service industry preferred. - Experience in ETL testing, hands-on experience in creating complex SQL queries, knowledge of programming languages, test automation creation/design, and requirement reviews. - Understanding of QA within the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) and QA methodologies, quality processes, logical analysis skills, attention to detail, and problem-solving abilities. - Ability to work to deadlines, clear and concise written and verbal communication skills, experience in defining, designing, and executing test cases.
