Role Overview

Python/FastAPI Development Lead

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain

  FastAPI-based backend services

  for experimentation workflows and simulation environments.
• Collaborate with

  ML engineers

  to design APIs for model training, evaluation, and benchmarking.
• Lead and mentor a team of

  5+ developers

  , ensuring adherence to best engineering practices.
• Conduct

  code reviews

  , manage PRs, and ensure delivery of clean, scalable, and reliable code.
• Troubleshoot performance issues, optimize code, and drive continuous improvement in backend systems.

Required Skills & Experience

• 8+ years

  of Python development experience, with

  3+ years

  of strong

  FastAPI

  expertise.

• 4+ years

  of experience in team leadership and project delivery.
• Strong proficiency in

  asynchronous programming

  ,

  RESTful API design

  , and

  API lifecycle management

  .
• Experience with

  Git

  ,

  CI/CD pipelines

  , and

  automated testing

  frameworks.
• Knowledge of

  NumPy

  Pandas

  ; familiarity with
