Key Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain scalable backend services using FastAPI
• Develop, test, and deploy RESTful APIs and integrations
• Manage containerized applications using Docker
• Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines for faster and reliable deployments
• Manage cloud infrastructure and deployment on Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
• Collaborate with frontend and product teams to deliver seamless features
• Optimize backend performance and ensure security best practices
• Participate in code reviews, architecture discussions, and documentation

Requirements

• Strong proficiency in Python 3+
• Hands-on experience with FastAPI (or Flask/Django with transition willingness)
• Working knowledge of Docker and containerized deployment
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or similar)
• Familiarity with GCP services (Cloud Run, Cloud Storage, Firestore, etc.)
• Understanding of REST API design principles and database interactions (SQL/NoSQL)
• Ability to write clean, efficient, and testable code

• Knowledge of Firebase and microservices architecture
• Experience with Celery, Redis, or Pub/Sub systems
• Familiarity with frontend integration (Flutter, React, or similar frameworks)
• Interest in startups and scalable social platforms
