Python Selenium

Primary Job Title:

• Design, build and maintain robust, reusable automation test suites using Python and Selenium WebDriver following Page Object and modular framework patterns.
• Create and execute automated regression, functional, and end-to-end test cases for web applications; integrate API-level tests for end-to-end coverage.
• Integrate automation into CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins/GitLab CI) to enable automated test runs on every build and provide fast feedback to engineering teams.
• Work closely with developers, product owners and manual testers to convert requirements into automated tests and to triage defects effectively.
• Develop clear test reports, logs and dashboards; track flaky tests and ownership to improve stability and test reliability.
• Continuously improve test coverage, performance of test suites and contribute automation best practices and documentation.
  

Skills & Qualifications

Must-Have

• 5+ years hands-on experience in automation testing using Python and Selenium WebDriver.
• Practical experience with test frameworks such as PyTest or unittest and implementing Page Object Model or similar design patterns.
• Familiarity with CI/CD integration (Jenkins/GitLab CI), Git-based workflows and running tests in containerised environments (Docker).
  

Preferred

• Experience with API testing (REST), tools like Postman/requests, and integrating API tests into automation suites.
• Knowledge of test reporting tools, logging, flaky-test mitigation and performance/basic load testing concepts.
