Python Engineer

You will be part of the Advanced Technology team in the Digital eXperience Group (*/dxg) which co-creates state-of-the art products and solutions with our businesses globally. As a Python Engineer (Data, AWS) for our client, a global leader in professional information services, your role will involve the following responsibilities and qualifications: Responsibilities: - Build web services for the team - Provide expertise in ETL and data wrangling using data from a wide variety of sources - Create and maintain an optimal, scalable, and automated data pipeline from inception to delivery - Collaborate effectively with various teams across the company - Be a self-starter who can align the technology solution with a business goal Qualifications: - Minimum of a Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or equivalent - 3+ years of experience in supporting the development of production-ready solutions leveraging Python engineering - Strong hands-on expertise in Python and open-source libraries and tools such as pandas, matplotlib, Jupyter, etc. - Experience in building, optimizing, and scaling data pipelines, architectures, and data sets in cloud-based (AWS) environments - Working knowledge in NoSQL, experience working with document databases (e.g., DynamoDB) - Familiarity with message queuing, stream processing, and highly scalable data stores - Experience working with agile and Software Development Lifecycle tools (e.g., JIRA, Confluence, Git) This company, a global leader in professional information services, combines deep domain knowledge with specialized technology to provide market-leading information-enabled tools and software solutions.
