Python Django Full Stack Developer

Job Overview:

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Full Stack Developer with strong expertise in Python Django (backend) and Next.js (frontend) to join our development team. The ideal candidate is a problem-solver, team player, and passionate about building scalable, secure, and efficient web applications from end to end.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain full-stack web applications using Django for the backend and Next.js for the frontend.
• Develop RESTful APIs and integrate third-party APIs/services.
• Implement responsive and user-friendly frontends with modern UI/UX practices.
• Optimize applications for maximum performance, scalability, and security.
• Work closely with UI/UX designers, product managers, and other developers to deliver high-quality solutions.
• Write clean, modular, and well-documented code.
• Manage databases (PostgreSQL/MySQL), write queries, and handle migrations.
• Perform unit and integration testing and resolve bugs or performance issues.
• Participate in code reviews and mentor junior developers if required.

Requirements:

• 2+ years of professional experience as a Full Stack Developer.
• Strong backend development skills using Python and Django.
• Proficiency in frontend technologies, especially Next.js, React.js, HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript (ES6+).
• Experience with RESTful API design and integration.
• Familiarity with database management (PostgreSQL, MySQL) and ORMs.
• Understanding of authentication methods (JWT, OAuth2) and security best practices.
• Version control using Git and GitHub/GitLab.
• Knowledge of deployment tools and processes (Docker, Heroku, Vercel, AWS, etc.).

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Experience with GraphQL, WebSockets, or SSR/SSG concepts.
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and Agile methodologies.
• Familiarity with testing frameworks (PyTest, Jest, Cypress).
