Python Developer

Key Responsibilities

Backend Development

• Develop and maintain RESTful APIs using Django and Django REST Framework
• Design and manage database schemas using PostgreSQL/MySQL for scalability and performance
• Create and optimize Django models to efficiently represent data structures
• Implement authentication and authorization mechanisms using JWT and OAuth2
• Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code following best practices
• Handle core business logic implementation

Frontend Integration

• Build and integrate frontend components using Next.js for seamless API communication
• Collaborate with frontend team to ensure accurate data flow and optimal API integration
• Develop responsive user interfaces using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript when required
• Optimize frontend performance and ensure smooth user experience
• Ensure accurate data rendering through API integration

  DevOps & Deployment

• Write and maintain Dockerfiles for consistent environment setup across development and production
• Deploy, monitor, and maintain backend services in development and production environments
• Manage containerized applications and ensure deployment stability
• Handle Docker configurations for reliable deployment

Code Management & Collaboration

• Use Git and GitHub for version control, pull requests, and code reviews
• Write and review pull requests, ensuring code quality and adherence to standards
• Merge changes from development to master branch following proper release procedures
• Document API specifications and maintain technical documentation
• Maintain up-to-date technical notes

Quality Assurance

• Debug and fix application bugs across backend and frontend layers
• Refactor existing code based on performance improvements and user feedback
• Conduct testing to ensure application reliability and stability
• Update existing modules based on requirements

Team Collaboration

• Attend daily stand-up meetings to discuss tasks, priorities, and blockers
• Plan and assign tasks aligned with sprint goals
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including frontend developers, designers, and project managers
• Prepare and update release notes for every deployment highlighting new features and bug fixes
• Ensure smooth deployment cycles with team coordination

Required Skills & Qualifications

Technical Skills

• Strong proficiency in Python with 2-4 years of hands-on experience
• Expert-level knowledge of Django and Django REST Framework
• Experience with Next.js and modern JavaScript frameworks
• Solid understanding of RESTful API design and implementation
• Proficiency in relational databases (PostgreSQL/MySQL) including schema design and query optimization
• Experience with Docker and containerization concepts• Strong knowledge of Git/GitHub workflows and version control
• Understanding of authentication mechanisms (JWT, OAuth2)
• Experience with HTML, CSS, JavaScript and Bootstrap

Preferred Skills

• Experience with data visualization and charting libraries (Plotly, Chart.js)
• Knowledge of trading platforms or fintech applications
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines
• Experience with any cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)
• Understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies

Education
