Job Title: Python Engineer (Python, Airflow, ELT)

Data Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and maintain robust
ETL/ELT data pipelines
using
Python, Airflow,
and relevant frameworks.
Manage source control using
Git
, including branching strategies and repository management.
Implement and optimize
CI/CD pipelines
for data workflows and deployment automation.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into scalable data solutions.
Architect and deliver
enterprise-grade data engineering solutions
, preferably within financial services or regulated environments.
Work within
Agile/Scrum
methodologies, contributing to planning, review, and continuous improvement.
Utilize tools such as
BigQuery, Azure Databricks
, or similar cloud platforms for data processing and analytics.
Ensure data quality, performance, and security standards are met across pipelines and platforms.

Required Skills & Experience:

Strong hands-on experience with
Python
, including libraries like
NumPy, Pandas, PySpark
.
Solid working knowledge of
Apache Airflow
and orchestration of complex workflows.
Proven experience building and maintaining
ETL/ELT processes
in production environments.
Expertise in
Git
for version control and collaboration.
Familiarity with
CI/CD concepts
and
deployment automation
.
Experience in data engineering on
BigQuery
or
Azure Databricks
.
Track record of delivering scalable, reusable, and robust data solutions.
Excellent verbal and written
communication skills
; able to influence and work across teams.
Prior work experience in
information security
,
cybersecurity
, or highly regulated industries is a plus.

Nice to Have:

Exposure to
DevOps practices
, including containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) and infrastructure as code.
Knowledge of additional ETL frameworks such as
Dagster
,
Luigi
, or
Prefect
.
Experience integrating
machine learning frameworks
(e.g., Keras, TensorFlow, Scikit-learn) into data pipelines.

Additional Information:

Candidate must be able to
start within 15-30 days

Must be open to
flexible working hours
based on project needs.
Preference will be given to candidates currently
serving a 30-day notice period
