Backend Engineer

Location:

Responsibilities:

Develop, test, and deploy scalable backend applications for large-scale data
Build, maintain, and optimize RESTful API microservices
Conduct code reviews and mentor junior developers
Troubleshoot performance issues in applications and databases
Document architecture and processes for team reference

Requirements:

5+ years of Python development experience
Expertise in RESTful APIs, JWT auth, caching, and load testing
Strong skills in Linux/Unix, Bash, microservices, Docker, Kubernetes, AWS Lambda
Hands-on with SQL, MySQL, PostgreSQL, Redis, Aurora, Redshift, BigQuery
Proficient in testing (unit, functional, integration) and API security best practices
Git proficiency with branching, conflict resolution, and PR management
