Job Summary:

We are looking for a skilled Backend Developer proficient in Python and Node.js technologies to join our growing fintech team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in building scalable APIs, microservices, and server-side applications using modern frameworks such as Django, Flask, Express.js, Next.js, or Nest.js.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain backend systems, APIs, and services.
• Write clean, scalable, and efficient code using Python (Django/Flask) and Node.js (Express/Next/Nest) frameworks.
• Integrate third-party APIs, payment gateways, and cloud services.
• Work closely with the front-end team to design and deliver seamless user experiences.
• Optimize applications for speed, scalability, and security.
• Manage database schemas, queries, and performance (MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, etc.).
• Implement authentication, authorization, and data protection mechanisms.
• Participate in code reviews, debugging, and troubleshooting.
• Collaborate in an Agile environment to deliver projects on time.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 2+ years of experience in backend development.
• Strong proficiency in Python and Node.js.
• Experience with frameworks such as Django, Flask, Express.js, Next.js, and Nest.js.
• Solid understanding of RESTful APIs and microservice architecture.
• Good knowledge of SQL/NoSQL databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB).
• Familiarity with Git, Docker, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Understanding of cloud environments (AWS, GCP, or Azure) is a plus.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience in Fintech or Payment Systems.
• Knowledge of message queues (Kafka, RabbitMQ).
• Exposure to GraphQL and WebSockets.
• Basic understanding of frontend technologies (React.js, HTML, CSS).
