Python Developer

About the Role:

A skilled Python backend developer, with a strong focus on building and maintaining web services using FastAPI, and knowledge on greedy route planning. The ideal candidate is comfortable working across the backend and has a basic understanding of client-side route optimization logic.

Job Description:

• Create solutions using Python
• Design APIs using FastAPI.
• Implement backend logic for logistics, delivery, or location-based services.
• Integrate a JavaScript-based greedy route planning algorithm for optimizing travel paths.
• Develop unit and integration tests to ensure code quality.
• Optimize backend performance for scalability and response times.
• Write clear technical documentation for backend services and route algorithm behavior.

Key responsibilities:

• Must Have:
  • 3+ years of experience with Python in a backend development role.
  • Hands-on experience with FastAPI and async programming in Python.
  • Strong understanding of RESTful API design principles.
  • Experience with JavaScript
  • Ability to integrate or modify greedy algorithms for routing.
  • Knowledge of algorithms and data structures, especially in path or route planning.
  • Good understanding of unit testing, Git, CI/CD workflows
  • Ability to write clean, well-documented, and maintainable code.
• Nice to Have:
  • Experience with .NET & C#.
