Experience: 2–10 years (Multiple levels)

Team: Core Product Engineering (starting with 2+ strong product engineers)

ABOUT THE ROLE

We are building a next-generation FinTech backend platform requiring high performance, strong reliability, and fast iteration. You will contribute to real-time microservices, configurable rule engines, secure APIs, and workflows supporting high-scale consumer experiences. This is a product-first role suited to engineers who have worked in product teams and enjoy startup-style execution.

RESPONSIBILITIES

* Build backend microservices using Python + FastAPI

* Design and optimise low-latency APIs

* Work with Redis + Postgres for caching and persistence

* Implement config-driven business logic (no hard-coded rules)

* Work with Orkes/Temporal workflow patterns (future-ready)

* Deploy and operate services on AWS

* Apply Zero Trust principles across all services

* Write unit tests, integration tests, automated QA

* Use AI-assisted development tools (Cursor, Claude)

* Collaborate with product/architecture to deliver modules end-to-end

MUST-HAVE SKILLS

* Strong Python proficiency

* FastAPI + asyncio experience

* REST API development

* Redis + Postgres expertise

* AWS experience (IAM, Lambda, ECS/EKS, SQS, VPC)

* Strong security mindset, Zero Trust fundamentals

* Clean, testable code discipline

* Product engineering background

GOOD-TO-HAVE SKILLS

* Orkes/Temporal awareness

* Microservices design patterns

* Performance tuning and caching strategies

* Exposure to distributed tracing
