Role Lead & Solutions Architect Location Bengaluru (or) Chennai Experience 5+ years of experience as a Professional solution architect, focus AWS including Python and Angular (Full Stack) Number of openings 1 What awaits you/ Job Profile We are seeking a highly skilled Lead & Solutions Architect for our Cross-functional team to act as the primary contact partner for the Data Visualization teams in the US and a newly established team at BMW TechWorks India . This role is critical for ensuring effective collaboration, seamless communication, and successful project delivery. The ideal candidate should have a robust technical background, a deep understanding of agile methodologies, and proven expertise in key technologies such as AWS, Python, Angular. The Team Lead will be responsible for guiding the team through complex technical challenges, managing cross-team communications, and driving the adoption of best practices in both development and operations. Key Responsibilities Act as the primary technical point of contact for the US team, ensuring efficient communication and alignment on deliverables. Provide leadership and mentoring to the India team, fostering collaboration, technical excellence, and growth. Oversee the implementation and management of the Cross-functional tech stack, including AWS , Python , Angular, PowerShell . Collaborate on system design and architecture , ensuring solutions are robust, scalable, and secure. Facilitate agile ceremonies (e.g., daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives), ensuring adherence to Scrum or Kanban practices. Guide the team in adopting cloud-native solutions on AWS , ensuring compliance with BMW s standards and best practices. Proactively identify risks and roadblocks , implementing timely mitigation strategies and ensuring alignment with business goals. Maintain and improve reporting mechanisms for status updates, technical documentation, and progress tracking. Work closely with stakeholders to define technical requirements and deliver high-quality solutions within agreed timelines. What should you bring along Extensive experience in software architecture , with hands-on expertise in AWS cloud services, Python , Angular, PowerShell and infrastructure-as-code tools like Terraform . Proficiency in implementing and maintaining distributed systems , serverless architectures , and REST APIs . Knowledge of SQL for database management and analytics. Experience with Git version control systems and CI/CD pipelines . Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and mentor team members effectively. Strong understanding of agile frameworks and experience in roles such as Scrum Master or Product Owner. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a proven ability to work in a multi-cultural, global environment .
