Job Description

Role & responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and maintain
automation scripts
using Python for functional, regression, and API testing.
Design and implement
test cases
leveraging
Pytest
and other Python-based frameworks.
Perform
API testing
(REST/GraphQL) using tools like
Postman
,
Requests
, or similar libraries.
Integrate automated tests into
CI/CD pipelines
(e.g., Jenkins, GitHub Actions).
Analyze test results, identify defects, and work closely with developers to resolve issues.
Ensure test coverage and maintain documentation for automation processes.
Collaborate with QA, development, and product teams to improve overall software quality.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

Strong proficiency in
Python programming
.
Hands-on experience with
Pytest
for test automation.
Solid understanding of
API testing
concepts and tools.
Familiarity with
RESTful services
, JSON, and HTTP protocols.
Experience with
version control systems
(Git) and
CI/CD tools
.
Knowledge of
test reporting tools
(e.g., Allure, HTML reports).
Good problem-solving and debugging skills.

Nice-to-Have:

Experience with
Docker
and containerized environments.
Knowledge of
cloud platforms
(AWS, Azure, GCP).
Exposure to
performance testing
or
security testing
.
