Role Overview

Python Automation Tester

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and execute test plans and test cases for

  Android and iOS mobile applications

  .
• Perform

  functional, regression, usability, and compatibility testing

  across devices.
• Identify, log, and track defects using tools such as

  JIRA

  or

  Bugzilla

  .
• Work closely with developers, product managers, and QA team members in

  Agile/Scrum

  ceremonies.
• Conduct

  API testing

  using Postman or equivalent tools.
• Use

  real devices and emulators

  for cross-platform validation.
• Develop and maintain

  automation scripts using Python

  and tools like

  PyTest

  .
• Participate in

  daily standups, sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives

  .
• Ensure timely delivery of

  high-quality releases

  .

Required Skills

• 48 years of experience in

  mobile testing

  (Android & iOS).
• Strong understanding of

  mobile platforms, UI/UX principles

  , and device fragmentation.
• Hands-on experience with

  test management

  and

  bug tracking tools

  (TestRail, JIRA, etc.).
• Solid knowledge of

  Agile methodologies

  .
• Experience with

  Python automation

  and frameworks like

  PyTest

  .
• Proficiency in

  API testing

  using Postman or similar tools.
• Strong understanding of

  SDLC

  and

  STLC

  processes.
• Ability to write clear, concise, and comprehensive

  test cases

  .
• Good SQL knowledge for backend validation.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• ISTQB certification or equivalent (preferred but optional).
• Experience with

  CI/CD pipelines

  (e.g., Jenkins).
• Familiarity with

  Git

  or other version control systems.
