Python Automation Engineer

Your role as a Senior Python Automation Engineer will involve collaborating with development teams to enhance application quality through test automation. You will provide technical mentoring and guidance to the test automation team while designing and implementing innovative solutions for automatic application qualification. It will be essential for you to exercise independent judgment in selecting test automation methods, techniques, and criteria to achieve objectives. Troubleshooting complex software and hardware configuration issues impacting automation, and documenting processes, findings, and solutions for reproducibility and knowledge sharing will also be part of your responsibilities. Hands-on experience with UI-driven test automation frameworks such as Selenium, working with CI/CD tools for automated testing, strong analytical, problem-solving, documentation, and communication skills are also necessary. You should be able to thrive in a fast-paced environment, manage changing business needs, have a passion for product quality, eagerness to learn new technologies, excellent time management skills, and good-to-have skills include experience with Playwright or other modern test automation frameworks, familiarity with complex software/hardware troubleshooting in test environments, exposure to continuous integration pipelines, and automation best practices, and experience mentoring or leading junior automation engineers.
