Design, develop, and maintain RESTful APIs and microservices using Python frameworks (e.g., Django, Flask, FastAPI).
Collaborate with cross-functional teams (frontend developers, product managers, data scientists) to understand requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
Write clean, efficient, reusable, and well-documented Python code.
Implement security protocols and ensure API compliance with industry standards.
Integrate APIs with various data storage solutions (relational and NoSQL databases like PostgreSQL, MongoDB, MySQL).
Optimize API performance, scalability, and reliability.
Conduct thorough testing and debugging of APIs to ensure functionality and stability.
Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to peers.
Stay updated with the latest Python libraries, frameworks, and best practices in API development.
Proficiency in Python programming language.
Experience with Python web frameworks (e.g., Django, Flask).
Strong understanding of RESTful API design principles and best practices.
Familiarity with database technologies (SQL and NoSQL).
Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git).
Understanding of software development lifecycle and agile methodologies.
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).

Preferred candidate profile

Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud),
Familiarity with containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
Experience with API management tools,
Formal AWS Training or AWS Certification, AWS Relational Database Systems, NoSQL, memory processing , serverless designs, orchestration and data streaming-Kafka/Kinesis
Experience in cloud provisioning concepts and deployment procedure
