We’re now looking for an enthusiastic Purchase Trainee to join our dynamic Tea Tasting Department and be a part of our sourcing excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in daily tea procurement and tasting activities.
• Work closely with the tea tasting team to understand quality parameters.
• Maintain purchase records, sample registers, and vendor data.
• Help in coordinating with gardens, brokers, and other stakeholders.
• Support the team in price analysis and market trend observation.
• Ensure timely documentation of purchase-related activities.

• Candidates from Tea Management Institutes or with basic exposure to the tea industry will be preferred.
• Passion for learning tea tasting and understanding market trends.
• Good communication, analytical, and record-keeping skills.

Skills & Qualities:

• Interest in tea tasting and purchasing.
• Ability to work under guidance and meet deadlines.
• Willingness to travel for tea garden visits, if required.
• Basic MS Excel / Google Sheets knowledge.
