Job Description

Job Title: Purchase / Procurement Engineer Entry Level

Employment type: Full-Time, PermanentLocation: Vadodara / Ahmadabad / Surat

Job summary:

Key Responsibility:

Assist in procurement of materials/components as per production requirements, prepare purchase orders and follow up with suppliers.
Support vendor development, evaluate supplier performance, maintain vendor database.
Monitor material lead times, stock levels, and coordinate with production/warehouse for timely availability.
Analyse procurement costs, suggest cost savings initiatives and support negotiations under guidance.
Ensure compliance with procurement policies, inventory norms and maintain purchase documentation.

Mandatory skills:

Diploma & BE Mechanical or BE Electrical.
Basic understanding of procurement processes, vendor management, inventory control.
Good analytical and negotiation skills.
Effective communication skills and coordination ability.
