Job Description

Responsibilities:

Procurement & Strategy

Develop and implement procurement strategies aligned with organizational goals.
Handle
urgent requirements of the P&M team
with speed, accuracy, and cost-effectiveness.

Vendor & Cost Management

Manage and negotiate with
OEM vendors
to ensure quality, cost efficiency, and reliability.
Build strong supplier relationships and monitor vendor performance.
Achieve procurement savings and drive value through effective sourcing.

Inventory & Purchase Planning

Optimize inventory levels through
ERP-based planning
.
Forecast requirements based on sales, production schedules, and operational needs.

Supply Chain & Risk Management

Ensure smooth material flow across the supply chain while minimizing disruptions.
Mitigate risks related to quality, delivery delays, and vendor dependency.

Team Leadership

Lead and mentor a team of
78 procurement professionals
.
Foster a collaborative, accountable, and high-performance culture.

Compliance & Governance

Ensure adherence to procurement policies, governance frameworks, and statutory requirements.
Promote sustainability and ethical sourcing practices.

Requirements:

Bachelors in Mechanical Engineering
(mandatory).
MBA (preferred)
with specialization in supply chain/procurement.
910 years of procurement & planning experience, ideally in infra/equipment industry.
Proven expertise in
OEM vendor management
, negotiation, and vendor development.
Strong ERP knowledge and ability to handle urgent requirements.
Team leadership experience .
