Job Title: Assistant Manager Purchase Location: Ghaziabad Position Type: Full-Time Salary Range: 57 LPA Experience: min. 5 years Reporting To: Head of the Department Department: Purchase Job Purpose: The Assistant Manager Purchase will lead procurement activities, ensuring timely, cost-effective sourcing, while upholding company standards and operational goals. Key Responsibilities: Lead and manage the Purchase team to ensure smooth operations, high efficiency, and strong coordination with internal and external stakeholders. Develop and implement strategic sourcing strategies that align with company goals and drive cost optimization. Ensure timely procurement of materials at the best possible price, quality, and service levels. Build strong vendor relationships through effective negotiation, supplier evaluation, and performance management. Monitor, track, and report procurement KPIs (cost savings, supplier performance, material availability) to senior management. Guide and mentor the Purchase team, building a culture of high performance, accountability, and continuous improvement. Manage procurement risks proactively, ensuring business continuity and minimizing supply disruptions. Ensure strict compliance with company policies, procurement processes, and legal regulations at all stages of purchasing. Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams (Production, Logistics, Finance) to ensure seamless coordination across departments. Prepare detailed procurement reports, MIS, and strategic presentations for management review and decision-making.
