Job Description

As a Procurement Manager in the field of Transformer, Switchgear & Electrical Equipment, your role will involve the following key responsibilities: - Procuring various components required for transformers - Managing Supply Chain to align with the master planning schedule for product manufacturing - Analyzing and controlling inventory, along with cost analysis and control - Ensuring timely delivery to assembly lines to maintain a lean supply chain and contribute to OWC optimization - Handling purchasing activities for general supplies and equipment, ensuring good quality at competitive rates - Monitoring slow-moving or non-moving inventory to prevent excess or stock-out situations - Developing vendors for different parts of transformers - Identifying root causes of supplier quality issues and implementing corrective and preventive actions - Leading the team towards achieving targeted results by tracking action plans for on-time material delivery Qualifications required for this role include: - Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering - Minimum 20 years of experience in procurement or related roles Please note that this is a full-time, permanent position with day shift schedule and the work location is in person near Vadodara. The salary for this role ranges from 40 to 50 Lac per annum with no bar for the right candidate. Additionally, benefits include Provident Fund.
