Job Description

JD Strategic Procurement Planning: Develop and implement procurement strategies that align with the company's goals and project requirements. Supplier Management: Identify, evaluate, and establish relationships with reliable suppliers for construction materials and equipment. Negotiate contracts to secure favorable terms. Budget Management: Monitor procurement costs to ensure alignment with project budgets and identify cost-saving opportunities. Inventory Management: Track inventory levels and ensure timely ordering of materials to avoid project delays due to shortages. Compliance and Regulations: Ensure all procurement activities comply with legal, environmental, and industry standards. Risk Management: Identify potential risks related to supply chain, cost fluctuations, and material shortages, and develop mitigation strategies. Collaboration: Work closely with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure procurement aligns with project timelines and requirements. Documentation and Reporting: Maintain detailed records of procurement processes, including contracts, invoices, and purchase orders. Required Qualifications: Experience: Minimum of 7 years in procurement within the construction industry, with at least 3 years in a leadership role. Skills: Strong negotiation and communication skills. Proficiency in procurement software and Microsoft Office Suite. Excellent organizational and analytical abilities. In-depth knowledge of construction materials and industry trends. Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks effectively.
